Who pays for rewards today

Your card fees pay for someone else's rewards program.

Every card tap costs you 2% to 3%. That money becomes points spent at banks, airlines, and chains. Maple Pay turns it around.

With credit cards

You fund rewards you never see

1A customer pays with a credit card at your counter
2You lose 2% to 3% of the sale in fees
3That fee funds their airline points. Their next free flight is on you.
Built for independents
With Maple Pay

Your fee is lower, and the rewards are yours

1A customer taps to pay with Maple Pay at your counter
2You pay 1.4% + $0.1, less than a credit card
3They win an item from your menu, on us, and come back tomorrow for it

FAQ

Questions owners ask us

Who pays for the rewards?

Maple Pay. You choose the reward, and we pay you for it every time a customer uses one.

Is there a contract, minimum, or cancellation fee?

No. Stop whenever you like and keep the tags.

Do I need to change my POS or terminal?

No. Keep everything you have. Maple Pay runs alongside it.

How long does it take to start?

One visit. We place the tag, pick the reward items with you, and you are taking Maple Pay the same day.

How and when do I get paid?

Straight to your business bank account, typically in one to three business days, reward payments included.

What happens after I say I'm interested?

We email you the details. If you want to see it, we come by your counter and show you the tap and the reward. No commitment either way.

Do my customers need an app?

Yes, once. The tag on your counter is how they get it, and our own channels send Vancouver customers to partner counters, so you are not starting from zero.
